This page sets out the terms on which you agree to when you book your Birthday Party or Venue Hire with Chipmunks Playland & Café. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any stage without notice. This page will cover birthday party packages, private venue hire, birthday certificate free returns and general party terms and conditions.
If your child has severe allergies or food issues, please communicate this with the store your visiting for more clarity on exceptions.
Full payment and confirmation of all details (including the guest list, platters, and special dietary needs) must be completed at least 72 hours before your booking. This is non-refundable for cancellations within this 72-hour period, no-shows, or changes of mind.
All attendees should familiarise themselves with our playground rules and safety information displayed in-store.
At least 1 adult must supervise every 8 children. Eating and drinking should be done seated in the café area.
Our facilities cater to children up to 11 years old. Individuals 12 years and older are classified as adults, and our playground equipment is only suitable for children up to 11 years old.
Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited on the premises, including the car park.
All guests must be wearing socks to go in the playground, including adults.
Chipmunks are not responsible for any personal belongings left on-site.
Prices and packages, including GST, are subject to change without prior notice.
Chipmunks may occasionally contact you for feedback and future marketing purposes.
If the store is unable to provide a specific party gift, they will substitute it with an alternative gift of comparable value.
Chipmunks Head Office continuously improves our party packages. We aim to inform our customers promptly about any changes. However, we do not hold responsibility for any miscommunications that may occur.
For any additional purchases, a café tab can be set up (excluding the ‘self-catered’ option. However, the café can be made available for additional purchases with advance notice). Full payment is due at the end of your party or event.
All party bookings are confirmed through our reservation system, ROLLER. After you have completed your booking and made the necessary payments, you will receive a confirmation via the method you’ve provided during the booking process.
We expect all guests to maintain respectful and courteous behaviour during their visit to Chipmunks Playland. Any form of misconduct, including damage to property or causing discomfort to other guests or staff may lead to eviction from our premises without a refund.

Party room bookings are specific to their session times. Plan to arrive 1 hour prior to your booking time and mention this in your invitations.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your birthday party booking.
Outside food and drink are not allowed, with the exception of a nut-free birthday cake for booked parties.
The party room is reserved for you for up to one hour. Your host will confirm timings on the day of the party.
Purchase entries to Chipmunks are valid from the time of entry until departure. Re-entry is not allowed.
Chipmunks playground rules must be followed at all times.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure your private venue hire booking.
A security bond is required as a precaution against cleanliness, soiling, equipment misuse, theft, and time of vacancy. This must be paid 72 hours before your booking and will be refunded within a week, providing all conditions are met.
Full payment for your function should be made no later than 72 hours prior to your event.
Venue hire is available after normal store trading hours
Chipmunks Playland & Café is not a licensed venue. No alcohol can be brought into Chipmunks.
With our ‘self-catered’ package, you’re welcome to bring your own catering.
The kitchen is not available for preparation, heating, or cleaning. For large meals, you’ll need to provide your own disposable cutlery, cups, plates, napkins, and rubbish bags.
You will have access to the facility for setup 15 minutes before your hire period starts.
The centre must be cleared and cleaned within 15 minutes from the time your function ends, otherwise additional charges will apply.
